My life is full of homemaking projects, being a military wife, attempts to get organized, being a coupon "princess", making meals, doing loads and loads of laundry, being a special needs Mom, keeping memories and lots more. Welcome to my world, I am glad you stopped by!

Slow cooking Thursday
This blog is supposed to be for all things homemaking...however so far it is mostly recipes!! But it's just so fun! Anyway, I made this a little while ago. I loved it and so did the kids. Ben was out of town so...those of us who ate it, liked it.
I found the recipe in the Fix It and Forget it Cookbook.
Cheese Souffle Casserole
8 slices of bread with crusts removed ( I used white hoagie rolls that were getting old)
2 cups grated cheese( I used cheddar)
1 cup cooked, chopped ham
4 eggs
1 cup light cream or milk
1 cup evaporated milk
1/4 tsp salt
1 tbsp parsley
paprika
Lightly grease your crockpot. Alternate layers of bread, cheese and ham. Beat together eggs, milk, salt and parsley. Pour over bread mixture. Sprinkle with paprika. Cover and cook on low for 3-4 hours.
Once when my little guy woke up at 3:30, I hurried and put this in and went back to bed. It was so nice to have a nice warm breakfast when we woke up...again! I hope you like it.
