Even though I do not think that there is anything that will make me enjoy doing laundry...there are definatley things that make it easier....or better...or more do-able. That is why I love being a Purex Insider. I love getting to try out new products to aid in tackling Mt. Washmore.
I recently recieved a box of 20 Mule Borax to try. I have to be honest and tell you, I had no idea what Borax was used for. I read the box and decided to just leave it in the laundry room...however it sounds like I made a mistake.
I googled "Borax uses" and there are tons of uses! From preserving flowers (is that what is in those packets you get from the florist?) to house hold cleaners, to yes being a laundry booster. You can use it to kill bugs, get rid of fleas...keep mice away.
Seriously, this is some pretty awesome stuff. I wish I would have used it other places as well.
How did it fair in the laundry machine? Not bad. Not bad at all!
I felt that our clothes came out smelling fresher and the colors didn't fade. Totally happy with it.
I do have one problem though. This is a problem I have with a lot of other products as well...Boxes that have a "push here" to open, and than it is IMPOSSIBLE to get it pushed open! I ended up pouring all of my borax in to a plastic container. I don't have a problem with products being in a box, I just prefer easier access.
All in all, I would totally recommend getting a box for yourself...and googling all of the things you can do with it!!
