MPM
Ahhh another menu plan Monday. I had a forever long wait at the doctor's office today, so that is where I wrote it out! Luckily I had one of my favorite cooking magazines with me! Have you ever read Sandra Lee's Semi Homemade magazine? Lots of good ideas! I love it. Anyway, here is my menu for this week.
Monday:
dinner: chicken fried rice (made by my husband!)
Tuesday:
B: cereal and muffins
L: (kids lunch boxes) bagels w/ cream cheese and ham, boiled eggs, fruit snack, banana, treat, juice
D:Impossibly Easy Cheeseburger pie, green salad,
Wednesday: Happy St. Patricks Day!
B: Lucky Charms (: and instant breakfast mixed with a banana
L: all green! Green grapes, apple juice (in green juice box) green apples w/ pb,
pistachios, shamrock shaped sandwiches, shamrock shaped frosted cookies ( I am also including a green napkin and a St Pattys day pin to wear)
D: chicken divan with lots of GREEN brocoli, green salad, cucumber slices w/ dip, watergate salad, rolls
for dessert: sherbert floats
Thursday:
B:scrambled eggs on a bisquit w/ a slice of ham and cheese
L: leftover chicken divan or a pb &j, fruit, crackers, granola bar, boiled eggs, treat?, juice
D: taquito casserole (new recipe), spanish rice, corn
that night I am making cookies for my son's class...looking for a new recipe to try...
Friday:
B: smoothies, boiled eggs
L:leftovers or a homemade lunchable, grapes, pretzels...
D:hoagies, bacon and ranch pasta salad, leftover fruit
treat during family movie night: muddy buddies chex mix
Sat:
B: blueberry pancakes, sausage
L: at a birthday party
D: chicken tortilla soup, cornbread
Sunday:
B:leftovers
L:leftovers
D: hmmm...maybe leftovers! (:

My corned beef and cabbage are cooking away in the crock pot as I type. It smells soooooooo good! Enjoy your St. Patrick's Day and come join me for Crock Pot Wednesday if you can. I love your "green" menu plan for Wednesday. What fun!
